Last time I checked, the latest episode for this anime series is 8. I'm falling behind again! Oh, wait.. Death Note 33 is already available! Will write a summary for it after this. ^o^ I have a bit of a playback problem with DtB episodes. The video crashes and skips. Perhaps a conflict with codecs, but I'm kind of lazy to fix it. So what do I do most of the time? I download the AVI version when I the MKV format does not work. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but I keep downloading MKVs because of superior video quality. Better than EP 32, thanks to Misa-Misa's re-appearance.
Light is oh-so-popular among the girls!! *scratches head*. Think about this: Setting his Kira ego aside, he's just a smart, normal kid. In reality, he may have been a geek or someone cut out for the jdorama Densha Otoko. Unlike L or Near who have been taken by Watari because they were orphans and exceptionally smart. Now in reality, something like that can happen. If Light approaches you and say he's Kira, would you show the same reaction as Kiyomi and Misa? Don't kill me, fans of Light. ^o^ It's Christmas season in EP 33, by the way. Near's fetish over toys and action figures are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too alarming [ I hope I wrote the sentence correctly ]. It doesn't look cute!!! Everyone has his/her own share of unexplained experiences. I just had mine today. Wait, I have no intention of writing my story in a Stephen-King way that freaks out readers. I'll try my best to be logical about the whole thing. And please, I don't want to see this included in the pathetic Philippine Ghost Stories book. (Alright, so here goes...)
The Slashers is a two-part episode with three new Claymores put in the scene. I'm not really amazed. Their resemblance to the personalities of Irene, Sophia and Noel makes them very dull characters. Casting their ranks aside, they looked very ordinary.
Raki is back. Oh, my stomach aches every time I see him. Not out of glee, I hope I made this very clear. I hate his mushy attitude. I only made 18 screenshots for this episode. The battle scenes are too dark and I think my monitor is the reason. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. So I'm giving it 98%. Full Episode Title: ~Indulgence~ The Fastest Path ~What is Justice~
Is it me or the long episode titles of Romeo x Juliet have started becoming less and less sensible? Especially this one. They're just a bunch of words put together without a unified idea. -____- Anyway, what I liked the most about EP 8 is Tybalt's re-appearance. Before he was just a guy with dark hair and cruel stare. Now, he is slowly opening up to the main character Juliet. See? I told you there will be a love triangle. Personally, I'd vote for Tybalt. Romeo's too suspiciously soft. Benvolio. I had the wrong impressions about him. When he was still a nobleman, he seemed to have the older-brother personality. He was more confident than Romeo in many ways. He says the right things at the right time and was always the one who pulls his friend back to the path of virtuousness. Now that he was stripped off his nobility, he became timid and clumsy. I guess this happens in real life but I kinda miss that nii-sama personality in him. I'm giving EP 8 a 98%. OT: Anime MP3 Singles page is updated with 14 new songs for your listening pleasure. Full Episode Title: The Gardenia Releases its Scent in the May Rain Part 1.
Big surprise! The comic-relief release of this dramatic anime is not at all expected, although personally I find the "relief" appropriate and well-received. I enjoyed it better than the previous episodes. Kiko's uniform/costume is somehow out of the ordinary. She could better fit in the anime Galaxy Angels or Vandread but I guess it may be assumed that she likes to cosplay because Gai mentioned about her fanaticism in animes. Gai is your typical detective who wears a hat and brown jacket and likes keeping notes in a small notebook. I think he can be the funny antagonist in the anime Cowboy Bebop, chasing Faye Valentine for her debts. Something like that. I'm giving this episode a 90%. Have I told you guys I work at a bank as a customer service representative? Well, in case you don't know, yes I do. Three months I ago I transferred to the e-mail group and now I correspond to our clients through obviously -- e-mail. Talking and Typing are two very different experiences and recently I discovered that it was much more fun working in the typing group.
I have a very special e-mail for you and please do let me know what you think:
How does one respond to an e-mail like that? We've always reminded ourselves to stay in the path of clarity to avoid misconceptions from our clients. Yet, when we are the ones pulled from that path, what do we have to fend for ourselves? How can we provide solutions for problems like that? A credit card giving a busy tone? Now that's scary, don't you think? The one quoted was a real e-mail from a real client. No offense meant, I just want you guys to get a picture of the job I do every day and how it sometimes drives me nuts.
Allow me to correct myself -- the Slashers arc has a part 3. Forgive me, I have not read the manga yet. So I'm really surprised that Galatea has already appeared in EP 10. In case you're confused, I did a bit of research and got around knowing other Claymores. Per Wikipedia, her first appearance was in volume 6. Assuming four or five chapters per volume, that's roughly twenty four chapters before her entrance to the scene. Normally, one anime episode equals one chapter. Blah Blah Blah. The important thing is that Galatea currently holds the # 3 spot. She's pretty too. (^o^)
I'm thankful that the battle scenes were 60% not held in the dark. I get to share more screenshots yay! I would have liked to get a clearer picture of the male Awakened Being though, but I guess I'll have to shuffle the manga for that. Anyway, I'm giving this episode a hundred percent. I can't help but be affected by schneider's opinion. So I asked biey-sama but she thinks the opposite - that the link images on top are okay. A situation with two conflicting opinions is really a difficult predicament to be in.
So what I did was create a second version, this time without the links on top. I NEED MORE OPINIONS because I don't want to submit a crappy layout to up4grabs. I don't want biey-sama to waste her time in uploading that kind of layout. :3 ++++ ORIGINAL POST BELOW ++++ I just did a bit of doodling today. A few hours later, the doodling became a serious & tiring work of coding, sampling, uploading. I'm dead tired and I felt I wasted a lot of time ~__~ Still, I hope you like it. I forgot whether the image came from a specific anime or game title but thanks to Aethereality for the PNG file. Kanashimi means lonely. The lines "So now everyone's evolving and I am just the same, Maybe a simple life is more the way to go, But then again, I'm mostly all alone," are parts of the song "Can't Lose You" by Caedmon's Call. A very, very, boring episode. I should not have bothered downloading the HQ version. I terribly miss L's presence. Death Note isn't the same without him. *sigh*. Most fangirls have actually dropped this series after his disappearance. Although I'm not really sure whether it's because of him or the storyline has just become dragging [ perhaps both? ]. Whatever the reason is, at this point I'm so impatient to see the last episode. Just three more weeks.
I don't know which part of EP 34 to start, I got so sleepy after watching it.. I'm also not in a good mood because today is the last day of my 1-week vacation leave. Ugh. Full Episode Title: Rally Cry... The Crossroads ~Clear of Doubt~
The storyline is getting more interesting and I have a feeling that the upcoming events will take place in a whole different environment away from the safe havens of William's Theater and the Keep. The characters will be thrown together in darkness and lies. Well, that's what I'm hoping for. Ophelia's role in the whole series is the one thing I'll look forward the most. Put aside the flying horses, her comes the maiden with powers probably beyond the Duke of Montague himself. Her face reminds me of a character in the anime Dot Hack Sign. I'm anticipating her inevitable meeting with Juliet. Again, that's what I'm hoping for. I'm giving EP 9 a 98%. Full Episode Title: The Gardenia Releases its Scent in the May Rain Part 2.
A very ordinary episode. If Darker than Black was originally a manga I'd say the Gardenia arc was a filler. Say, I've recently started monitoring the visitors of my blog and I was surprised that the most accessed page is Romeo x Juliet. Not only that, the song Inori ~ You Raise Me Up ~ is to the date the most downloaded MP3. See, I was thinking this blog doesn't attract non-Tabulas readers but when I checked the hit report page, I proved myself wrong. Apparently my blog appears in search engines and the Brazilians are the top visitors of my site. I just wish they spare a second to tag something at my shoutbox. I can only identify them through their IP addresses. I'm thankful though. ^0^ Going back to this episode, I was a bit uncomfortable with the belief of the mysterious widow regarding bad odor. She said everyone was born with it, but I don't think that's fair of her to say. If you torch a man then that sure will smell but a normal person doesn't have a natural bad odor. Even if we go back in time to see a fangirl sliding out of her mama's womb. Babies smell so good. Not in a way that I want to eat them though. Episode 8 gets an 80%. Lucky Star belongs to Kagami Yoshimizu. Gee, I'm really hungry. Thing is, I can't go outside to buy food because I simply do not go outside. So I guess I'll have to endure it until dinner time. I hope someone cooks something delicious. I miss Kare-Kare. Ooh, peanut sauce and bagoong. Yum. Say, is it an original Pinoy delicacy? Like adobo and dinuguan? I wonder.. Anyway, so here they are. Somebody said that this year's Toy Convention was by far the biggest. That part is true. Megatrade Halls 2 & 3 were rented/leased by the organizers to accommodate perhaps a million fangirls, fanboys, fanwomen, fanmen & fangays who were more than eager to show off and buy attention -- I mean, things. ^^; . [ I may also be exaggerating with the statistics :p ]
Unfortunately, the place is still so crowded. A few minutes of exposure to sweat can make someone's head dizzy. Your armpits, please! Getting Ready I woke up around 10 am. Checked my cellphone. No text from Mikki. She's my toycon partner this year. I went online to check Terebi boards. Confirmed that Haibu and Gaiatron are going too. I'm not sure yet whether this was an official Terebi EB though. I finished my routines two hours later. The first text message was from Haibu, asking me if I was already @ the mall. Unfortunately, I was unable to reply [ load-less ] so I stopped by @ mini-stop to buy a prepaid card. Fully loaded, I sent text messages almost to everyone I wanted to meet at the con. Arriving at the Crime Scene I called Mikki and this was probably how our conversation went: Mikki: san ka na? [ where are you? ] Makkun: dito na sa 5th floor [ already here @ the fifth floor ] Mikki: okay, hanapin mo yung nakablue, yung malaki ang b**leep** [ ok, look for someone wearing blue with large b**leep** ] Makkun: kita na kita. [ i can see yah~ ] Mikki: san ka? [ where are you? ] Makkun: sa likuran mo. ^o^ [ behind you ^o^ ] Makkun crashed into the heavenly mountains of Mikki-sama. XD "Whoa," I said. Surprisingly, Mikki wasn't the only familiar face I saw. There was Daniel and Ira too [ from PA boards ]. I met Ionne for the first time [ I hope I got the spelling of your name right!] Both girls were promoting their JE Fans Unite club I think? ^^; Anyway, I was really hungry [ it was past 1pm when I arrived ] and bless you Dan, you gave me a Dunkin Donut munchkin. You said, however, that the flavor is barbarian - err, I mean, BAVARIAN but my mouth tasted strawberry/raspberry. :3 Thanks, still. Then I bought my ticket! So the four of us, including two other fangirls who I never had the chance to actually speak with, went down to eat lunch. [ Yay! Taberu! Taberu! ] I ordered porkchop from Sizzling Plate. Mikki ate a large slab of chicken from Chicken Company. And the kids -- I think they already ate and were playing around with ice cream. Haibu and Gaiatron then went looking for me. ^^; I don't know how they ended up at fourth floor when I said I was at the food court, near the skating rink. In the end, we decided to just meet at the entrance. Returning to Hell's Gate Now, the tricky part. I made a mistake of wearing my Happy Feet bakya so I was really worried of being stomped on. Fortunately, none of the nail-crushing incident happened. Hey, those who also went to the con, in case you saw some thin girl in white collared shirt with orange striped and black pants, that's me :D It was difficult to buy stuff. I was also surprised that Level-Up Games did not participate this year. I was planning on hunting down a couple who may have showed up at the con because they're hardcore Ragnarok players. Yeah. I brought an ax just for the two of them. >:) Metaphors, people... Metaphors... Oh! I also met Nagi's brother: Rob [ I think? ]. The three of us got separated from Haibu and Gaiatron and after a quick tour around the area we decided to take a break. We sat on the floor near the stage [ left side if you're facing the stage ]. I was pretty irritated when two girls tried to squeeze in and their big bottoms took up my happy place. After a while we were shooed away because the cosplay had to start. What I found frustrating was that they set the judges' tables late, right when everyone was already seated. It would have been better if prior to ribbon-cutting [ was there one? ], they already had the tables set so fangirls will know where to sit. Deshou? The cosplay starts. I couldn't see a thing! I was also overpowered by the stench of sweat from the big men who suddenly appeared beside me, fanning themselves as if they intentionally wanted me to choke to death. I told Mikki I needed some air so I stepped back. Sh*t! Big mistake. I was literally pushed back. There was this funny cosplayer I just forgot who he was cosplaying but he suddenly pulled out his phone and said "Tititititititititit!", immitating that guy from the Touch Mobile TV Ad who exchanged textfire [?, substitute word for gunfire] with other men who surrounded him and also had their cellphones pointed at him. Alright, time for some shopping then. I wasn't really excited about the cosplayers. Exception: the Transformers Group. So I made another tour and dropped by @ the Beerkada Booth. I finally to purchased Fantakada! Lyndon is still cute :3 LOL. Lookie: I also bought a card game called Talecraft. This may not interest many people but I believe this tool will help me write more creative stories: I did not buy anything from 2rats. Feh. They're distributing fansubbed titles. Those are supposed to be free! T__T "Not for sale or E-bay. If you pay for this, you've been reaped off" -- This is what fansub groups usually say. Although there are some groups who use "rip off" instead. The End of the Day At six o clock PM I was dead tired. I must be getting old. After eating the last Dunkin Donut munchkin [ again, thanks Dan! ] I said goodbye to Mikki and the others. I walked out, eyes half-closed. Did I enjoy the con? Not much. But I enjoyed being with my fellow otakus. I also enjoyed gawking at the Justice League/LoTR display and talking to the two kids who cosplayed Ruriko and Reiko from one of my favorite animes: Gatekeepers. OT: I'll write DN 35 tomorrow.. ~__~ too sleepy.
Sorry for the late review. Most of you have probably already heard that a C&D was issued to Kuro Hana two weeks prior to the release of final episode. I was very mad about it, and I really don't care what other people say. This is illegal, That is retarded..
I am mad and you can't dictate how I should feel about the situation. By saying things like that you only add fuel to the fire. This may be an anime blog but Crispleaf is a personal blog as well. I don't encourage people who do not share my opinions to flame here. You can just say your point (yes even contradictory to mine) then leave. But if you give your opinion, I would really appreciate it if you don't add insulting words. Giving opinions and picking a fight are two very different things. I hope you remember that. Otherwise, if you start flaming, even after we already established the fact that we both don't care whatever any of us think -- your comment will simply be deleted and your IP address banned. Well then, let's proceed to discussing Episode 35. The first three minutes of this episode focused solely on the characters who made a significant impact in the overall story. The accompanying background music made me feel gloomy, as if it was saying that we have already reached the point where we can't turn back and what we are seeing is the last glimpse of peace before the ultimate fall of Light Yagami. That alone is a 100%. Also, I think Episode 35 may be compared to a Greek tragedy with betrayal and morbid death as the main elements -- Kiyomi burning herself to death. Alright! My most anticipated series from the Spring Anime List! Thanks Kuro-Hana and NEET for taking this project. I sure hope that we all get to see the end without another C&D being issued to your groups. ^o^
Per Wikipedia: Devil May Cry is an anime series based on the video game series created and owned by Capcom. It debuted on the WOWOW TV network in Japan on June 14 of 2007, and will run 12 episodes. The show is produced by the anime studio Madhouse and is directed by Shin Itagaki. Bingo Morihashi, one of the writers for the second, third and fourth games, is also on the writing staff. A teaser-trailer, released on the show's official site, featured pre-production artwork of Dante, the primary protagonist and playable character of the video games, and confirmed him as the show's main protagonist. A second trailer released at the 2007 Tokyo International Anime Festival showed actual animation from the show and included a character and cast list, featuring both new characters and other characters from the games. In the beginning of June, the entire first episode was released to Asian countries Excluding Japan. The first episode aired in Japan on June 14. The first episode is impressive: Animation wise. The battle scenes are very much like Dante's movements in the game. I think I'll find this cuter if the popular "Blast!" or "Crazy" words appear every time Dante makes a move. The starting story was just as good, subtly letting us all know what Dante does for a living but leaving enough room for fangirls to ask for more. I actually said, "What? That's it? I haven't even seen Dante's butt!" Kyaa. I'm a bit -- just a bit -- uncomfortable with his voice though. Even if deep voices fit personalities like Dante's, I think a much lighter, teasing, mocking voice would better go with his character. Especially when he's playing around with demons. First of all, good news to Death Note fans. I found a torrent for EP 36. Before I share it though, let me make sure it's not fake. I'll let you know as soon as possible.
Now onto Claymore. I was a bit disappointed that Galatea did not reveal herself to the other three, I was really hoping for a short battle maybe between her and Miria. Still, the episode was enjoyable, even if all they did was gossip around like a bunch of high school girls. ^0^ That was a metaphor. I hope I used the right words though. I'm really excited about the next episode, since it's Ophelia's turn to take the stage. Ophelia holds the # 4 rank, and is known to have an unnatural thirst for killing demons and perhaps... humans. Maybe EP 11 is a sort of an introduction or prelude to the events that will significantly alter the course of the main plot. Oh! I can't wait! I'm giving EP 11 a 98%. Full Episode Title: ~Tears~ That I Met You
I didn't like Juliet in this episode. All she did was whine and get sick. Not only that she already troubled her friends for being reckless and selfish [ refer to the previous episode ], she had also burdened Romeo, by blindly driving him to her side, instead of her doing what was she supposed to do - be Capulet. Romeo doesn't have to actually do anything, [ except wait for the crown ] since the aggrieved ones were her family. If the story turns out to be one of those overused sons-against-fathers plots, [Zeus vs Cronus, Oedipus vs Laius, ], I'm going to be really sad. So I hope this Capulet chick shakes it off and be brave enough to carry her sword. Otherwise, I won't be cosplaying her in the next con. LOL. So, what are the bad points? First, the Animation. Distinctly inferior. The characters' faces get distorted every time a difficult camera angle comes to view. One particular scene which got me gaping with disbelief was the part where Juliet tried to ran away from a DOM. Instead of her shoulders going up and down like any normal muscle movement, her shoulders were rigid and she made this sideway move which looked as if there was a life-sized carton of Juliet sliding out of the camera's view. Really disappointing, Gonzo~kun. [ CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE SLIDING JULIET VIDEO ] ^Don't worry, the file is only 512 KB. Second is Sequence. Juliet goes out walking in a red-light district. Then it rained. Then she collapsed and was admitted in a convent? How was she able to reach a place like that just by walking? It seems funny that a convent is just around the corner of a prostitute street. Another thing is the fact that it was Romeo's mother who found her. Didn't she live somewhere far from Neo Verona? How come she's someplace where a person can reach by feet? Lastly, Juliet Capulet. I already discussed her on the first paragraph, though I want to reiterate how disappointed I am with her. Isn't it that "Women have always had the power?" All things considered, I'm giving this episode an 85 %. Episode Rating: Memorable Quotes from Episode 10: Even though we're standing so close to each other ... between us lies a wall higher and harder to climb than any mountain - Juliet. Hope you enjoy it! Okay, now let's proceed. This is by far my most favorite Claymore episode. Definitely a 100%! One more thing: Raki has finally caught my attention. I think he grew up a bit after this episode, saying manly things such as "I will protect you". His words really turned me on, especially when the girl he wants to protect is a sword-wielding half-demon warrior. Even I will kiss him. By the way, nice kiss Clare. Argh, I can't wait to rub that ugly smile off Light's face. Oh, I want to reminisce, but I guess that will have to wait until I have seen the final episode. So going back to EP 36, I was glad that no time was wasted. I was literally trembling with anticipation at Light's first and final meeting with Near. And then when he did finally meet him, I felt euphoric. Strangely though, they did not seem surprised after seeing each other's face. I understand Near's indifference since he already had Light's files and photo before, but Light, on the other hand... well I expected him to look at Near and say something like, "Oh, he's just a kid." But he didn't. They were good phone pals after all. Well, Light must really be thinking of nothing else but his impending victory. By the way, Ryuk was never present in any scene. Full Episode Title: The Pure White Dress Stains Her Dreams with Blood Part 1.
I'm considering dropping this anime from my current list. Still, I can't decide just yet because I actually enjoyed EP 9. Hei and Kirihara have chemistry, that much is obvious. She's strong-willed, pretty -- a perfect match for Hei. Not that I'm expecting a love plot in this dark anime, but well, a sprinkle of it wouldn't be so bad. The story needs to pick up though. Enough about individual contractor tales, I think it's important that the major characters are developed. We still have no knowledge of Hei's past, except that one, he had a sister and two, he likes to eat a lot. Also, I would like to see more of Yin; her past, the extent of her powers, why did she become affiliated with Hei. This anime lacks these kind of things. It's so sad. T_T Still, I have no complaints about the animation. Probably this is the strongest feature of Darker than Black. As for the music, well, I don't really focus on that, although I think DtB effectively uses its background songs when necessary. This is by far the shortest summary I have ever written. Mainly because nothing much happened. Romeo and Juliet ran away together like any typical teenage couple. Just that. No complications. This will explain why all screenshots for this episode are pictures of them cuddling, smiling, blushing like aw geez, am I their official photographer? Enough Already! XD Well ... it's always nice to think that in the anime world, you can just run away without worrying so much about food, transportation and other expenses. I did a lot of "running away" when I was a kid, but I always ended up going home. Someday. ^_^ So, going back to this episode, I am still bothered by the fact that the animation has still not improved, especially Juliet's designs. Her face is distorted for crying out loud! Somebody, please take notice! If not for the violin version of Inori which I heard once again, I wouldn't be so happy after watching this episode. I would even say something like holy cr---- So, 85! This very nice story definitely deserves a 100%. I honestly thought that the events were predictable but despite that, I still enjoyed watching the White Dress arc, especially the last part because it reminded me that I used to be like Alice. I depended on my friends so much to the point where I can't do anything or be happy without them. It's sad that there are people who take their friendships the wrong way. Alice, in this case, tried to kill Misaki/Kirihara because Kirihara "failed" to be there for her. Kirihara, on the other hand has her own issues: allowing other peoples' sufferings burden her. I think my sister is like that. O.o Thing is, a friend can't be your friend all the time. So erase that "a friend in need is a friend in deed" notion because everyone has problems. You can't always expect that they'll come knocking at your door whenever you're blue. Sometimes it really is better that you deal with your own problems. It builds character after all. Today is the opening day of Transformers movie right? Deshou? Deshou? Aiyah, I'm actually losing sense of time and important things like this -- thanks to my demanding job. Has anyone seen it? Please tell me if the movie is good. Well, it should be because I heard Spielberg produced it. I wondered though why he didn't direct it himself.
Anyway let's put that aside for now. Death Note time. What a really creepy ending! Obviously, it's quite different from the manga. And Light didn't have to run away like that, with the rest of his team chasing after him. Although personally, his death on the staircase was better than dying at Ryuk's feet inside the yellow box. At least his dying body was bathed in rays of sunlight -- kind of perfect for someone Godly. So, to sum it up, what were the lessons? I think the most important one is to understand the true meaning of justice. I'm not saying I already know what justice is after watching this series, but what I understood, however, is the simple fact that no human can truly attain the power of justice, no matter what the circumstances are. Even if a notebook with the power to control death falls from the sky. Perhaps the ultimate justice is to free yourself from the burden of injustice - make the bitterness 'pale away' by covering it up with happy memories, love and compassion. Think about Kenshin. Alright! Irene is back. Isn't it right that she'll donate her arm to Clare?
Well, let's just wait and see. Okay -- so I like this episode, although not as much as I liked the previous one. More battle scenes, more intrigue, but less drama. What's important, however, is that Clare is about to learn the Flash Sword technique. That surely is worth looking forward to. Will her rank go up now? I don't really mind but I do hope so. After all, she's working really hard ne? The animation is superb, that much I noticed. Also, the fight scenes weren't entirely held in the dark so I had plenty of enjoyment. My real favorite part is where Clare's face gets all distorted and her teeth sharpens. Why? Because she looks so serious I want to pinch her. ^o^ EP 13 gets a 98%. Oro, we're halfway there! Lady is our supporting character in this episode. Does that mean we're expecting the storyline of DMC 3? Hm, if that's the case then we'll be seeing Arkham, the Jester and... Vergil, the Dark Slayer! Yay.
But let's forget the game for now. Episode 2 was alright but not really extra-special despite Lady's appearance. The demons remain weak against Dante, and if this goes on, the battle scenes will be predictable and eventually, boring. I hope a much more powerful adversary takes the hot seat. The series will run for only 12 episodes, after all. The quality of the video I downloaded wasn't good. Actually, I'm really avoiding the MKV version, because of the bad experience I had with Darker than Black. But I guess my decision wasn't wise since the AVI version sucks. The fansub group this time is Anime Club Generation. They're the first to release EP 2. Unfortunately, KH is busy with their Kenichi project. And NEET, well, I maybe they can't independently sub DMC without KH's help. I'm giving EP 2 a 90%.
